League trains parents June 5 and 16

As a member of the Prince William Swim League, parents from our team are eligible for free training. Certified officials judge the performance of swimmers at meets.

Training for officials will take place on Saturday, June 5 at 9am and also Wed., June 16 at 7pm also at Bristow Run. Once trained, parents are encouraged to volunteer at meets as an official.

Understanding what judges look for allows parents to be more involved in their child’s swim experience by becoming more knowledgeable. If your child is disqualified from an event, this training would allow you to understand why and to help your child improve.
