This is the last week of summer swim. We have a lot going on !
CORRECTION: For the banquet; families are NOT required to provide a main dish, side and dessert! Families with last names between A & M need to bring a main dish and side dish. Families with last names between S & Z need to bring a main dish and dessert.
LOCATION CHANGE FOR THE BANQUET:
The banquet will be at Manassas Baptist Church at the corner of Sudley Rd. and Stonewall Rd. We will be in the cafeteria of the old school ( used by Mayfield this past school year).
FRIDAY, JULY 30th 6:45pm.: Our last pre meet picnic of the season! As usual; bring a dinner ddish to share. We'll supply the rest!
SATURDAY, JULY 31st 7am.: Divisionals at Stonewall against Va Oaks and Brookside. OUR WARM UPS START AT 5:45am!
Here's the info to know for Divisionals:
1. With 3 teams the meet should end by 1:45pm.
2. There is NO setting up on deck!
3. We are setting up on the hill by the
playground.
4. Coach Maurie would like all swimmers to
wear their team swim cap or "Swimmer of
the Week" cap (if you have one).
5. Mayor Hal Parrish will be saying the Pledge
of Allegiance!
SUNDAY, AUGUST 1st 4-7pm.: Banquet at Haydon Elementary.
The "info" to know for the banquet!
1. Please bring a dinner dish, side and dessert to share. We
supply everything else.
2. Visit the "Silent Auction" throughout the banquet. There
will be plenty of great things to bid on! If you would like to
make a donation for our SILENT AUCTION please check out
the President's page.
3. During dinner we'll have a general membership meeting and
elections for the Board of Directors.
4. After dinner the awards ceremony begins! All swimmers will
be recognized!
5. The banquet is for swimmers and immediate family members
only. Siblings and Grandparents are considered immediate
family members.
AFTER THE BANQUET; 8- 10pm.: POOL PARTY AT STONEWALL! This is for SPST swimmers and their families only! See you there!
